'Nother movie meme doing the rounds.

Rules of the meme:
1. Pick 15 of your favourite movies.
2. Go to IMDb, and find a quote from each movie.
3. Post them here for everyone to guess.
4. Strike it out when someone guesses correctly, and put who guessed it and the movie.
5. NO GOOGLING/using IMDb search functions.

#1 is Serenity, I think, and is #9 Casablanca?

I feel I should really know #10, for some reason....

Correct on both counts. You have no idea how tricky it is to find a quote from Casablanca that doesn't give it up straight away but it still recognisable. :)

And as it has already been guessed #10 is from Happy Feet which is itself a clear reference to 2001: A Space Oddesey.

The older ones like Casablanca and Singing In The Rain I tried not to make too tough though I doubt anyone will be able to guess #7 and especially #8 - those are a tad more obscure. :)

I cheated and googled (not for my first answers, just now to see what #7 and #8 is) and I would never get them as I haven't seen them =) Although I've had #8 on my dvd shelf for ages I haven't put it on yet.

BTW #14 I haven't seen that movie in years!

Yeah, #7 is probably the most obscure one up there - I don't really expect anyone to get that one.

#8 is a truly fantastic movie and shows you how movies should be made. You really should watch that one - especially if you already have it. :)

My sister was watching #14 the other day and I'd forgotten just how silly it was - and perhaps a bit 'adult' at times for its intended audience. Still a lot of fun though. :D
