1. Name a TV show series in which you have seen every episode at least twice:
Just one TV show? There are many that I've probably watched too many times to be considered healthy. Buffy, Firefly, Arrested Development, Moonlighting (season 1-3 anyway), PressGang, Blackpool, Wonderfalls, Red Dwarf, Dexter (not including the latest series), and probably a few more.
2. Name a show you can't miss:
At the moment Dexter, 30 Rock, Supernatural (especially this season) and Doctor Who. Also from Australian TV: Good News Week, Newstopia and RockWiz. I've also recently found myself craving Lost even though I'm not the biggest fan of that show. Strange.
3. Name an actor that would make you more inclined to watch a show:
Nathan Fillion, Michael C. Hall, Adrian Pasdar, John Simm, Anthony Stewart Head, David Morrissey and one Kristen Bell for good measure. :)
4. Name an actor that would make you less inclined to watch a show:
Um... Tom Cruise. Cannot stand that man on so many levels.
5. Name a show you can, and do, quote from:
The most common are probably Buffy (all the time, "Bored now"), Firefly (who doesn't, "I'll be in my bunk")) and Invader Zim ("It was me. I was the turkey all along.").
6. Name a show you like that no one else enjoys:
Generally the older shows like Moonlighting and PressGang though that's not such much a case of people not enjoying them as a not having seen them. Also Eli Stone, not that it's the greatest show around. But any show that can add random song and dance numbers to every episode will always amuse me.
7. Name a TV show which you've been known to sing the theme song:
Veronica Mars, every time I watch the show I have to sing along. It's just so catchy and fits that first series so well.
8. Name a show you would recommend everyone to watch:
The first season of Veronica Mars because it's so clever and funny. Exactly how television should be made. Also maybe Bones, Firefly, Wonderfalls and Arrested Development as I love all of those shows so much and yet many people I know have never seen them let alone heard of them.
9. Name a TV series you own:
More than I have space to store. Full seasons of Buffy, Angel, Firefly (x2), Wonderfalls, Arrested Development, Red Dwarf, Blackpool, State Of Play, Moonlighting (S1-3), Heroes (S1), Life On Mars (S1), Veronica Mars (S1), Dexter (S1-S2), House (S1-S2), A Bit Of Fry & Laurie (S1-S2), all the Top Gear DVDs and all the RockWiz DVDs so far. I'm sure there's a few others that I'm forgetting as well.
10. Name an actor who launched his/her career in another medium, but has surprised you with his/her acting chops in television:
Um... I'm not really sure with this one. The shows I generally watch don't have any actors I recognise in them from other things. Though I will say that I more than love Alec Baldwin on 30 Rock. Pure genius casting with that one. :D
11. What is your favorite episode of you favourite series?
Wonderfalls: Would be a toss up between Pink Flamingoes and Cocktail Bunny though really I love them all.
Buffy: A tough one but would have to be Restless or the whole of Season 3. :P
Firefly: Probably Out Of Gas or Object In Space, though Our Mrs Reynolds will always hold a special place in my heart as the first episode that made me realise just how much I loved this show.
Moonlighting: As one that I'm always drawn to The Dream Sequence Always Rings Twice always features, as does Atomic Shakespeare.
Doctor Who: Never having seen any Old!Who episodes The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances stands out for me as one of the best episodes of New!Who so far.
Futurama: Luck Of The Fryish without a doubt.
12. Name a show you keep meaning to watch but just haven't gotten around to yet:
Not so much that I haven't gotten around to it yet as I haven't had the opportunity to watch it yet, Pushing Daisies is so that show with Chuck running a close second. Stupid Channel 9 for still not airing the pair of them. >:(
13. Ever quit watching a show because it was so bad?
Not that I can remember. If I think a show looks bad from the previews I generally don't watch it at all. Unless it's a remake of a show I've already seen, then I just watch it to laugh. American Life On Mars I'm looking at you. :)
14. Name a show that's made you cry multiple times:
I don't really cry all that much but the aformentioned episode of Futurama tends to get me every single time I watch it.
15. What do you eat when you watch TV?
Generally not much. Maybe some potato chips or chocolate or a piece of fruit. Depends how I'm feeling at the time.
16. How often do you watch TV?
Not too often - especially at the moment when most shows are on hiatus. Maybe 5-6 hours a week if that.
17. What's the last TV show you watched?
A few episodes of Buffy on DVD. I've being going through the whole series again and sharing it with my younger brother who would only have been 2-3 when the show first began airing. The last episode we watched tonight was Innocence.
18. What's you favourite/preferred genre of TV?
I'm not sure that I have a favourite genre but I do prefer those shows that have a little twist in them (Like Buffy, or Wonderfalls, or Blackpool). Shows that don't always take things so seriously but still manage to keep the drama (Like Moonlighting, Or PressGang, or Bones). Though having a supernatural type theme does tend to help make these shows more fun.
19. What was the first TV show you were obsessed with?
Buffy all the way. It premiered here when I first started highschool and it was the only show I'd ever seen like it. Would definatly be the first show that I never missed an episode of and this was well before the advent of TiVo and several years before we even owned a modem. I sometimes miss those days.
20. What TV show do you wish you'd never watched?
Viva Laughlin was pretty bad, though the one episode I saw was quite good for the laughs. :P
21. What's the weirdest show you enjoy?
Probably all of them, though when mentioned to friends Firefly, Wonderfalls, Moonlighting and Blackpool generally attract the weirdest looks. :D
22. What TV show scared you the most?
I don't think I can ever remember being scared by something I've watched either on TV of in the movies. The episode Hush from Buffy should get a mention for being pretty creepy though, and Dexter does occasionally give me the wiggins - especially when you're watching it late at night and the power cuts out. That was not a good night for sleep I can tell you that.
23. What is the funniest TV show you have ever watched?
I'm not sure about the funniest show I've ever watched, but these days the crown most definately goes to 30 Rock. It's the only show that I can remember in recent years to literally have me laugh out loud - quite often several times an episode. Come back soon 30 Rock I miss you so.
