1. Frogs. As my username and icon suggest frogs are my most favourite animal in the world. They're just so cute and squishy, and really quite amazing. Love them!
2. Grass. There's nothing better than walking barefoot through a nice soft patch of grass. Makes me feel all summery and happy.
3. Boots. Mrs. Peel from The Avengers has one of the greatest wardrobes of all time. I love these swede, green, thigh-high boots so much. They are possibly the greatest piece of footware I've ever seen.
4. Pistachio Nuts. So tasty. I love buying lightly salted ones still in their shells. I can eat the whole bag in one sitting.
5. Eric. One of the warmest and most touching short stories I've read in a long time. Eric by Shaun Tan is worth the read and it can be found online if you have 5 minutes to spare. Check it out here: Eric by Shaun Tan
6. Star Trek. (If I had found a picture of Spock bleeding I would have used that, but this will have to do) Over the past couple of months I've been running through the original episodes of Star Trek: The Original Series and have been loving ever minute of it. The series is both everything and nothing like I expected. I never realised that the occasional cheesiness and bad props/special effects came with such wonderful stories and character moments. I really, really love the Spock/Kirk/Bones dynamic, and I can't wait to get through every single episode. (I'm nearly at the end of Season 1).
7. Mint Chocolate. As with chocolate and nuts, or chocolate and orange, there's just something about chocolate and mint that works so well together. The Lindt is a personal favourite of mine.
8. Space. If there's one thing that science fiction has taught me it's that space is green. Aliens, nebulas, gas clouds - all green. Watching the meteor shower the other night reminded me just how much epic shit is happening around us that we barely even notice.
9. Little Shop Of Horrors. It's that familiar story; Boy likes girl, girl is dating a sadistic dentist, boy feeds girl's sadistic boyfriend to his bloodthirsty talking plant, boy gets girl. Also it's a musical. This movie has my three favourite things in TV/Film - science fiction, dark humour, and random song and dance numbers. Lots of fun. :D
10. Recycling. I'm a mad recycler. I hate to waste anything. Paper, plastic, glass, tin, fruit/vegetable scraps (make the best compost) and even water (for the garden/indoor plants). If it can be reused or recycled I'll make every effort to do so.
