The Logies were on tonight. They're kind of the Australian version of The Emmys - but without as much class. Lately they've been a quite mediocre affair and tonight was no exception. Adam Hills did a great job of hosting and Dave Hughs was also quite funny - though both did use a bit of their old material.

The main problem lay in the nominees. With so little good Australian drama being made these days it's not so much a case of the best in their fields as it is the only ones in their fields. I hardly knew any of the nominees this year as I don't watch Home And Away, All Saints or McLeods Daughters.

The best moments of the night for me came from the absolute hottie that is Michael Weatherly. He's so adorable and was continually smart and funny the whole night - even when he had to be interviewed by the incredibly annoying Fifi Box. I can't help but think how that little moment would've turned out had Adam Hills been the interviewer. Also showing up Hamish and Andy in the 'greenroom' - Just brilliant. :)

I think it's kind of cute that he requested some tapes of Australian TV when he accepted the gig to get a little backround on the shows that would be featured. Most guest stars wouldn't even think of that. I'm sure the Fantastic Three had nothing on their minds other than promoting the new film.

In other news the Cats beat Richmond today by 157points. The Cats were up 10goals to 1 in the first quarter alone. Why couldn't they have televised that instead of The Logies?

Ok. How do I post photos behind a cut(if that makes any kind of sense)or do I need a paid account for that?

Or failing that how do I post photos as thumbnails?

I was just going to fiddle around with the site myself and see what I could do, but any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

I don't think you need a paid acount for that....

You should be able to do it in the Rich Text editor by selecting the cut first, and then where it says 'type cut contents here' you delete that and click the 'add photo' button, and then it gives you instructions (you can select a picture size and preview the pic if you do it like that).

If you want to do it in HTML, the code would be:

<*lj-cut text="whatever you want the link text to be"*> Only without the asterisks.

And then you hit the small picture icon to add pictures either from Photobucket, or you can hit browse to upload from your computer and add them to your LJ scrapbook.

To close the cut, it's <*/lj-cut*> at the end, after the pics (removing the pesky asterisks again).

Let me know how you get on!
